Namaste, I’m Mirabelle .

I am here to support your desires by empowering you to connect initmately with life. We do this together by bravely and vulnerably experiencing the whole spectrum of your emotions and desires.

In our work together, there is no right or wrong, only what arises from the body when we meet it with a pure desire to feel, listen and acknowledge its experience, all that it is holding inside.

Intimacy with breath, co-meditation and nurturing commitment are the pillars that allow grace to unfold in our journey together.

I provide a simple, practical and deeply loving space to allow you to unplug from urgency, into deep trust and allowing.

“Meeting Mirabelle and practising yoga with her is one of the best things that happened to me! She is the most passionate, knowledgeable and gentle yoga teacher. In her classes, she goes beyond the physical and teaches deeper awareness and understanding of each posture. The classes include breathing, relaxation and meditation. After each class, I feel more connected to my true self and my body and mind are rejuvenated!”

“I came to Mirabelle and Yoga to unbind my ridiculously tight hamstrings last year. Now I touch my toes all the time, regularly put my 240 pound frame in headstand, meditate (and Pranayama) every morning at 4am and spend many workdays with laser-beam focus. Mirabelle lives Yoga. She is the most supportive teacher and will ease you into wherever Yoga takes you… She blends practical science and broad expert knowledge with.. well her secret sauce… undefinable energy that you will hear and feel.”

Business Performance Manager, DART

“With the Pranayama breath challenge, I’ve felt an unmistakable shift in me, encompassing the way I feel and very essence of me at a deep internal level, the way I relate to the world & life, and how much more light, peaceful and clear-headed I go throughout my days since. The most impactful experience of the HBHL course for me though was how it has influenced my meditation practice since learning of the (what I view as magic!) of pranayama. The physical practices have completely calmed my mind in ways I thought unimaginable for my ‘monkey mind’ which has lead to an enriched and fulfilling meditation practice. It’s like I didn’t know what was missing but since completing the course I feel that I’ve found what I’ve been searching for!”

Pre-school Teacher, Sprogs

Mirabelle is a gifted teacher. Both her meditation and yoga classes are perfectly paced and expertly explained through analogies, metaphors, and also with scientifically supported explanations. Mirabelle’s knowledge is deep, and also vast – she distills these ancient teachings into relatable, easy to digest morsels that fully support her students on so many levels. Having practiced yoga for 20+ years, I find Mirabelle’s classes among the most fulfilling and engaging I’ve ever attended.

“The team at HMCI are strong believers that staff wellness and team building should be integrated into the work we do as first responders. As such we recently participated in a Yoga Nidra session with Mirabelle. It was such a wonderful way to get some well needed rest and relaxation and we are so grateful to her for giving us the opportunity to share her practice with us”.
Dani Coleman
Director, HMCI (Hazard Management Cayman Islands)

“I was new to yoga when I started out with Mirabelle’s Sivananda yoga class, I am still very much a beginner and you won’t catch me performing a headstand any time soon (!), but what I have learnt so far is much more valuable. I have learnt that patience is key and the journey to feeling at ease with who you are is more important than the end product.
After my yoga practices with Mirabelle I feel much more settled and calm within myself; I have a clear mind, I know my capabilities, my weaknesses and, I am realising my potential. Each practice is a step of progress towards reaching that potential, both physically and spiritually. I do not need to have been to many yoga classes with many different teachers to know that Mirabelle is one of the best coaches I will have.
Mirabelle exudes a calm serenity and perseverance that comes from within, she takes great joy in her teaching and this helps you to believe in your capabilities. I am not only learning the physical practice of yoga but the whole discipline of Sivananda and the lessons are life-changing.”

“From walking into Mirabelle’s studio the first time I knew that I have arrived in the realm of authenticity! Her style of teaching is attentive and person-focused and she teaches proper technique and skill!
She is a compassionate teacher and incredibly skilled in the practice.
You’d watch her demonstrate getting into a pose step by step and then thinking to yourself, “Right, this will take me some years to get down, but today it’s just going to be painful and embarrassing”, and then you begin… and you’re so focused on the steps (and her voice as she guides you through the steps) and on what you’re busy doing that you simply forget yourself. And when you exit the pose and move into relaxation it suddenly occurs to you what just happened, what you just did… and you remember how before you thought there’s no way, and it is an incredibly empowering feeling!”

My Wake Up Call

Born in Mumbai, yoga, spirituality, many religions and chaos were always around me. I was born into a Catholic family, attended a Muslim school, learnt classical Indian (Hindu) dancing and lived 2 floors above a Sikh place of workship. All this both fascinated me and made me uncomfortable. Little did I know that all experiences would trigger and nurture my deep need to be at ease with paradoxes, growing to be with life as it is.

I always felt a kind of anxious buzz in my body-mind, as well as a trust that there was more to life. I felt energy and sensed things that no one could understand. I devoured books on the unknown, the rejected and the unthinkable. I battled depression and courted suicidal thoughts. I found dance. Dance was my space to sweat my prayers

….until I had a slipped disc at age 25, discovered I had congenital spinal anomalies and a slim chance of healing after surgery. I recalled the true story of an Indian Classical dancer who lost her foot and trained herself to dance with an artificial foot. I made my way to the Sivananda Ashram in the Himalayas and by pure grace, I had an incredible visceral experience of feeling my whole body and being vibrate like atoms expanding and diffusing at a rapid pace….it changed everything

Sadhana (all of life as a daily spiritual practice) became my act of self-love. Healing unfolded with an inexplicable patience and aceeptance. Today, I am still unravelling all that keeps me in judgment and disconnection in my inner landscape with the daily guidance of my guru and the grace of the Divine. Trusting and allowing is all there is….
